User Data Deletion

How to have your personal information removed from our systems.

You may request deletion of the personal information Upscape Build holds about you at any time. We respect the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and process every deletion request within the legally permitted timelines.

How to request

Use any of these channels — pick whichever is easiest:

  • Email: send a message to privacy@upscape.in with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Email from the same address or phone number you used to contact us originally — we use this to verify the request is genuinely yours.
  • WhatsApp: send the message DELETE MY DATA to +91 73058 95594. The message can be in English, Tamil, or Hindi. We will acknowledge within 24 hours and confirm completion within 30 days.
  • Post: a signed letter to Speckle Interiors Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India addressed to the Grievance Officer.

What gets deleted

  • Your contact details: name, phone number, email, WhatsApp identifier.
  • Lead, enquiry, and conversation records — including transcripts, voice-call recordings, and AI strategist notes.
  • Site-visit notes, draft quotations, and unaccepted proposals.
  • Marketing-source signals and consent records (we keep a short record of the deletion itself for legal evidence).

What we may have to keep

The following items are retained for legitimate legal or contractual purposes and are not removable by request:

  • Signed construction agreements and amendments — retained for the warranty period and any statutory limitation period.
  • Tax invoices, GST records, and payment receipts — retained per the Income-Tax Act and the Goods and Services Tax Act.
  • Records required for ongoing or threatened legal proceedings, until resolved.

Timelines

  • Acknowledgement: within 7 working days.
  • Completion: within 30 calendar days of acknowledgement.
  • Confirmation: a written confirmation sent to the same channel you used to request.

If you believe your request has not been handled properly, contact our Grievance Officer at admin@upscape.in. You also have the right to raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
